The new Motorola Droid Bionic 4G

Motorola has announced the upcoming launch of its first 4G Android device for the Verizon Wireless network.

Coming sometime Q2 2011, the Motorola Droid Bionic 4G is promised to deliver blazing fast 4G speeds—up to ten times faster than Verizon’s 3G network.

Packed inside the Droid Bionic 4G is a dual core 1GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, a 4.3-inch high-definition touchscreen, front and rear-facing cameras, 1080p HD video recording capability, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI output, and much more.

Motorola is clearly attempting to obtain new users through the inclusion of business-friendly devices.

Much like the business oriented Motorola Droid Pro, the Droid Bionic 4G will feature corporate e-mail, encryption capability, conference calling, and remote wipe. The Droid Bionic 4G can also perform as a hotspot for up to five different devices through its 802.11 b/g/n radio.
