The Wall Street Journal has posted some news on how the Motorola Droid has sold since its launch.
Many Verizon stores have less than half their initial inventory, with some claiming to have only a few Droids left.
Sales were strong launch day, though there weren’t long lines at stores for the launch like there was for the iPhone’s launch.
One analyst expects nearly 1 million Droids to be sold in the fourth quarter of this business year.
Current Verizon customers are expected to embrace the new phone because Verizon is widely believed to have the best wireless network across the United States.
